Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Effective administration and communication of benefits plans including the following:
medical, dental and vision coverage, short and long term disability, FMLA, FSA,
Workers’ Compensation, life insurance.
Oversee the processing of Workers’ Compensation, disability, FMLA, and leaves of
absence paperwork. Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and City labor laws.
Track Workers’ Compensation, disability and FMLA claims.
Ensure the Agency’s compliance with OSHA.
Respond to employee questions and resolve benefit issues as appropriate.
Serve as liaison between insurance carriers and employees.
