A highly respected, growing restaurant group is looking for an experienced Corporate R&D Chef to lead culinary development and standards across 5+ locations and multiple concepts , with exciting growth ahead—including a new boutique hotel .

This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef’s chef who enjoys both creativity and operations. You’ll work closely with ownership, Operations, and culinary leadership to develop menus, strengthen kitchen systems, control costs, and develop Executive Chefs and future culinary leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop culinary teams across multiple concepts and 5+ locations
• Drive menu development from concept through launch, including recipes, costing, testing, training, and documentation
• Maintain culinary standards, BOH systems, SOPs, food safety, and consistency across multiple concepts
• Partner with Operations and Finance on food cost, labor, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, and corrective action
• Help recruit, mentor, and hold Executive Chefs and culinary leaders accountable
• Use R365, Toast, or similar systems to manage culinary performance
• Stay hands-on and regularly visit locations to identify opportunities and improve execution
• Play a key role in upcoming restaurant development and openings

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Chef in a multi-unit or multi-concept environment is a MUST!
• Strong background in fine dining, upscale-casual, and/or hotel operations
• Equally passionate about creating exceptional casual food and sophisticated fine dining
• Strong knowledge of menu development, food and labor costs, purchasing, and kitchen systems
• Excellent teacher, coach, and culinary leader
• Creative, operationally strong, and comfortable with accountability
• Hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing other chefs
• Experience with R365, Toast, or similar technology is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000–$150,000 base salary , depending on experience
